This unit of competency specifies the outcomes required to conduct an auction. It includes conducting the auction in line with agency practice, ethical standards and legislative requirements. The outcomes required to prepare for the auction and complete follow-up procedures after the auction sale are addressed in CPPDSM4019A Prepare for auction and complete sale.

At the end of this unit you will be able to:-

  • Conduct auction.

Completion of this unit requires submission of a video of yourself conducting an Auction sale.

The maximum nominal hours to complete this unit of competency is 20. However, there is no time restriction, students may choose to complete studies sooner or to take longer.

A statement of attainment will be issued to students upon completion of the course.

Successful completion of this unit will provide a pathway towards completing a Auctioneer licence with Fair Trading.
